We have changed the frequency of the Winlink RMS Gateways at Elkton and Oak Grove to 145.010 Mhz. Same capabilities offered: Ax.25 Packet 1200 baud // VaraFM
Elkton: W4MSI-10 callsign for the RMS Gateway on both VaraFM and Packet
Oak Grove: KO4YES-10 callsign for the RMS Gateway on both VaraFM and Packet
Use the SSID of 15 for digipeater access for both VaraFM and Packet…ie KO4YES-15 or W4MSI-15.
This frequency change should add to the capabilities of the system overall by being on the same frequency as other gateways across the state of Kentucky. Allowing further distance to be covered with hops using the digipeaters when necessary.
