W4MSI Logger is a field-focused Amateur Radio logging app for everyday contacts and portable activations, with dedicated TOTA support, optional GPS Journey Recording, mapping, and standards-based exports.
Log callsigns, operator information, power, band, mode, frequency, reports, grid information, and timestamps without creating an activation.
Create Tiles On The Air activations using 6-character Maidenhead tiles, capture Tile-to-Tile contacts, and maintain a complete activation history.
Optionally record your GPS journey while operating. Tracking can continue while the screen is locked or another app is in use.
Select a TOTA tile from the map and see current position, recorded route, and Inside / Outside status during an active Journey.
Export contacts using the standard Amateur Data Interchange Format for import into compatible logging applications and services.
Export recorded Journey data in GPX format for viewing, archiving, or use with compatible GPS and mapping software.
From starting an activation to recording contacts and reviewing a journey, the workflow is designed to remain clear and usable on a phone in the field.

W4MSI Logger keeps its core logging and activation functions local to the device. You can continue logging contacts and managing activations when cellular or Wi-Fi service is unavailable.
Mapping features may require an internet connection, while previously loaded map data may remain available from cache.
W4MSI Logger is developed by Dustin Smith – W4MSI with an emphasis on practical Amateur Radio field operation. Additional activation programs and tools are planned for future updates.
